Our Team

Steve has been in the electrical contracting business for 40 years, forming S R Harvey Ltd with Kim Harvey in 1979. He has been the driving force behind the growth of the business and development of many long standing client relationships. Steve assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer earlier this year following the reorganisation of the business.

As Managing Director, Kim is responsible for the strategic direction and day to day running of the business. Kim also has overall responsibility for both HR and Finance.

James has outstanding technical ability and is extremely experienced in managing projects. He is responsible for the delivery of the very often fast track commercial and retail sectors of the business throughout the South of England. James is the Harvey Electrical’s NIC Technical Qualifying Manager and the company Health & Safety Coordinator.

Michael has extensive experience within the construction industry and in particular within the retail sector and main contracting arena. As Non-Exec Director Michael's role is to provide business, marketing and sales support to the senior management team and to provide personal mentoring to the contracts management team.

Ron heads up our Estimating Team and is based in our London office.

Graham has been with the company for many years and joined the Estimating Department two years ago. Graham has brought a wealth of practical experience and knowledge to the team.

Graham has extensive experience within the electrical industry, having worked in the Commercial, Retail, Residential, Industrial and Chemical sectors.

Ross is based in our London office and produces timely quotations for projects within the London area.

Sonny has many years experience in the consistent and successful management and delivery of projects for multi sector corporate & public sector clients, including international corporations.

Dean is our key account manager for the Harrods projects. Dean has excellent communication skills and is extremely customer focused. Having started with the company as an apprentice, Dean’s career reaches a 10 year milestone in 2010.

Steve is an experienced Contracts Manager and is based in our London Office.

Phil heads up our in house Design Team and provides lighting design, AutoCAD and IT services for the company, along with the preparation and delivery of our project Operation and Maintenance manuals. Phil is a member of the Institute of Fire Alarm Engineers and is an approved Fire Risk Assessor.

Dave started his career as an apprentice within Harvey Electrical. His practical experience of site installations now enables him to deliver efficiencies within our project designs. Dave works closely with our client’s site teams, providing timely drawing and technical information.

Trevor supports the Managing Director by managing all of the accounting processes to keep the finance department running smoothly.

Amanda is in the pivotal role of Directors PA and HR support. Amanda also manages the company website.

Colin facilitates the procurement and delivery of all goods to site, in addition to coordinating the smooth running of the stores.

Vicky enables the smooth running of the office and provides admin support to the team.
